In 8 Ball Pool, the aim of the game is to clear out all the balls assigned to you. Once you can pot all the balls, you must target and pot the 8 Ball. Whoever does this first, wins. There are two types of balls in 8 Ball Pool, the striped ones and the spotted balls. These balls usually correspond to a set of numbers from one to seven and nine to 15.

With Snooker, however, the goal is to pot one red ball and one colored ball, all of them with corresponding points. The player with the highest score wins the round. There are 15 red balls, each equal to one point. There are six colored balls, the yellow ball is worth two points while the green ball is means you get three points. Brown ball and the blue ball will give you four and five points and the pink ball gives you six points.

The black ball has the highest points when you pot it you get seven credits. Many players aim to strike the black ball first before other colored balls because of the point advantage they can get. However, it takes a lot of planning and skill to pull that off so make sure to think up a strategy before you take your shot.
